Charged for Educational and Other Services

In 2010/2011 academic year*
The fees charged for educational and other services provided for a Student by the University are determined in rubles or in US dollars and are kept unchanged for the whole period of studies within the terms indicated in the Contract.
The estimate is arranged on an annual basis with an exception for application fee and also registration and graduation fees which are paid only once: in advance, on enrollment and before the beginning of a graduation year correspondingly.
The costs for educational programs indicated below are minimal, they do not include additional educational services offered to overseas students, such as Russian language and professional courses, teaching materials produced in Russian and in English, arrangement of study groups with regard of students’ language skills and their educational background in terms of contents of their studies at home.
The full costs include:
- Application fee - $50
- Registration fee - $50
- Educational fees:
- Preparatory year course for applicants to Bachelor degree/Diploma Specialist programs - $2000
- Preparatory year course for applicants to Master degree programs - $2000
- Programs leading to Diploma Engineer/Marine Engineer, with the exception for programs in the field of Information Science and Computer Engineering – from $2000;
- Programs leading to Diploma Engineer in the field of Information Science and Computer Engineering – from $2200;
- Diploma Specialist programs:
- Economics and Management in Industries- $2300
- Accounting and Audit- $2400
- Jurisprudence- $2500
- Sociology- $2000
- Mathematics, Physics, Applied Mathematics- $2000
- Bachelor degree programs:
- Applied Mechanics - $2100
- Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering- $2100
- Information Science and Computer Engineering - $2200
3.7 Master Degree Programs:
- Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering- $2700
- Applied Mechanics- $2700
- Information Science and Computer Engineering -$2800
3.8 Postgraduate studies
- For SMTU Graduates- $3200
- For other applicants- $3500
4. Accommodation in a student hostel (single or two bed room) -$700-$450

*Fees for programs attended by additional educational services are determined separately with regard to delivered services, although the fees should amount minimum 3000 USD per person, per year.
