ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
LENGTH OF STUDIES

Bachelor degree programs are available for higher secondary school graduates. The length of the courses is 4 academic years. Applicants should have completed a preparatory year course in SMTU / at any other RF Higher Studies Technical Institution, or to pass entrance tests in Russian at Basic Certification level.

Master degree programs are available for Bachelor Degree holders. Educational background is expected to be compatible with the chosen area of studies and related to Marine Science and Technology, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering. The length of the courses is 2 academic years. Applicants should have completed a preparatory year course in SMTU or to pass entrance tests in Russian at the 1st Certification level.

Postgraduate programs are available for Master Degree holders.  Educational background is expected to be compatible with the chosen area of studies and related to Marine Science and Technology. The minimal length of the course is 3 years. Applicants should have completed a preparatory year course in SMTU or to pass entrance tests in Russian at the 2nd Certification level.
