Ph.D. Degree programs in Technical Sciences.

Ph.D. programs are individual researches in the field of Marine Sciences including Information Technologies applied to the indicated area.

REMARK 1: All Bachelor degree educational programs are diversified in profiles. Each profile includes subjects corresponding to the program name with focus on some particular area that is studied in more details. Master degree programs belonging to the same field of studies are also developed in different study plans, according with the program name.

REMARK 2: The above list of programs is not full and will be continuously renewed throughout the current academic year. More Bachelor degree and Master degree programs are expected to be developed due to introduction of the two-level system. All new educational programs will be described on their licensing.

REMARK 3: Educational programs leading to Diploma Specialist are advised to international students with Russian as a native language, as they are expected to be enrolled in mixed groups.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
LENGTH OF STUDIES

Bachelor degree programs are available for higher secondary school graduates. The length of the courses is 4 academic years. Applicants should have completed a preparatory year course in SMTU / at any other RF Higher Studies Technical Institution, or to pass entrance tests in Russian at Basic Certification level.

Master degree programs are available for Bachelor Degree holders. Educational background is expected to be compatible with the chosen area of studies and related to Marine Science and Technology, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering. The length of the courses is 2 academic years. Applicants should have completed a preparatory year course in SMTU or to pass entrance tests in Russian at the 1st Certification level.

Postgraduate programs are available for Master Degree holders. Educational background is expected to be compatible with the chosen area of studies and related to Marine Science and Technology. The minimal length of the course is 3 years. Applicants should have completed a preparatory year course in SMTU or to pass entrance tests in Russian at the 2nd Certification level.
