CAMPUS FACILITIES

In deciding where to study, your first consideration will be concentrated on the educational programme. But of great importance will also be the environment — the University facilities, living accommodations and local area.
We have set out to give you some information on the Campus and illustrate it with pictures which hopefully will help you to feel what the University is.
The MTU is spread across the four sites including administrative and learning buildings and two student hostels.

The University main site is situated in the central part of the city and is linked with others by a regular transport service. There is the administrative building with the Rector’s and Vice-Rectors’ offices. The Department of Foreign Students is as well located at the main site. From here you will make your first steps at the University , and we look forward to meeting you.
If you choose a course offered by the Faculty of Marine Engineering you will study at the main site on becoming a third year student.

Across the road there is the Faculty of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering. This building will open its doors for senior students taking the Faculty courses.
All junior students, regardless of the educational programme, will have their classes for the first two years in the learning building situated in the South-west of the city, in a district which faces the sea coast. This is a new building with many modern facilities and equipment.
